Quotations for standard products are usually sent the same day but no later than the following business day. If we are in need of more information, a sales representative will contact you via the method chosen when submitting the RFQ. Quotations for non-standard (special) products may take additional days to process.

All quotes are valid for a period of 30 days. In order to secure the price beyond the 30 day period, we must receive a purchase order within that 30 day period. Order processing can be postponed for up to 60 days after the 30 day period is up.

Platform hoists usually ship via dedicated truck. Smaller items such as accessories and cable hoists usually ship via LTL common carrier. All orders ship freight collect unless other arrangements have been made with our shipping department.

Yes! If you have a preferred carrier or would like to setup your own pickup, you may do so by coordinating with our shipping department a minimum of 2 days prior to scheduled shipping. If a change in carrier occurs less than 2 days of the scheduled ship date, a shipper change fee may be assessed.

The Patriot Series of Portable Cable Hoists makes a small "jog" in the up direction before lowering the load. This "jog" up lasts less than a second before lowering the load. If the unit does not perform as described, check the pendant control and the pendant extension for damage.

All Patriot Series Hoist use 3 phase motors. The difference between a standard Patriot (3-phase input power) and a Patriot "S" (1-phase input power) is in the device used to control the motor inside the control box. The Patriot "S" has a device that takes in single phase power outputs three phase power to the motor. If you are in doubt as to the unit you have received, check the serial number tag located above the motor fan inside the chassis of the hoist or count the prongs on the power cord. 3 prongs equals single phase, 4 prongs equals three phase.

The RP Series of Platform Material Hoists are designed for materials only and should not be used for transporting people.

It is acceptable to use the platform of the RP as a work platform during the erection and dismantling process as long as all safety measures for personnel working above ground, as well as all bracing and safety components are used on the RP.

The Patriot 2000 can be used with the SMM-11, but should not be used to lift the full capacity of the hoist. The SMM-11 has a rated capacity of 1000 lbs. and when using a Patriot with a 2000 lbs. capacity it is important not to exceed the limits of weakest component, be it the SMM-11 or the scaffold itself.

The Butler Hoist is designed for materials only and should not be used for transporting people.

The MMH Series is intended for moving materials only. When properly installed there are no operator controls inside the unit for a rider.

The MMH Series is intended to be installed in compliance to ANSI/ASME B20.1. This is the national standard for a type of "Material Only" lift referred to as a Vertical Reciprocating Conveyor (VRC). Some States and municipalities have additional rules governing this type of equipment, check with your local governing body.
