	Patriot Series Cable Hoist

	HTH Portable Cable Hoists are commonly used in conjunction with scaffolding or roof construction. Patriot hoists are designed to withstand harsh outside environments commonly found on construction sites. The Patriot Series hoists material by utilizing a continuous duty cycle fail-safe brake motor coupled with a unique Cyclo-Drive gear reducer. This patented gear reducer provides a 95% efficiency; far better than regular planetary gear boxes. Dual speed operation is controlled by a low voltage (24vdc) pendant connected to a programmable logic drive. This provides smooth acceleration and deceleration which protects your valuable material and tools.

* Constant voltage is required to maintain proper lifting capacity and speeds. If power supplied to the hoist does not meet the minimum requirements, damage may occur to the controls. Lifting capacity is based at the 3rd layer of cable on the drum.
** Operating speeds vary based on the amount of cable on the drum. Speed shown is at the 5th layer and will be slower at other layers.

NOTE: All Hi-Tech Hoist products are designed for lifting and lowering materials only. They are NOT to be used to transport personnel or lift loads over people.
Installation and use must be performed by trained and authorized personnel only and in compliance with any national, state and local regulations.


	Mounting Options

Scaffold Monorail System	The Scaffold Mounted Monorail System provides a means of attaching your hoist to a standard 7’ or 8’ scaffold A-Frame. This accessory utilizes monorail rollers attached to the hoist to allow for easy and safe movement of the hoist in the horizontal position. Workers atop of scaffolding can get the material they need to be more productive and in a timely manner. For a more in depth explanation, consult our sales department.

Trestle Monorail System	The Trestle Monorail System is a standalone unit that can be used for mounting your cable hoist to a roof top or balcony for easy access. This system is counterbalanced by utilizing optional ballast containers, ceiling brace or bolting to the floor surface. A 3-1/2’ overhang provide ample distance for most situations. A 4-1/2’ overhang version is available to clear a parapet. For a more in depth explanation, consult our sales department.

Adjustable I-Beam Rollers	Adjustable I-Beam Rollers provide great versatility by allowing customized mounting through the use of I-Beams. Uses also include interior anchoring to overhead structural I-Beams. If an application requires custom made anchoring/mounting, this is the best option. For a more in depth explanation, consult our sales department.

* When attaching to scaffolding, consult a structural engineer to determine the best location and anchoring option. HTH cannot determine the best installation method when anchoring to scaffold.
